Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a fluent welsh Primary School Teachers to work 2 days a week within a Welsh Medium Primary School in Caerphilly. TThe successful candidate would be expected to work on a Thursday and a Friday in a mixed class. 

 

Role - Year group: 3 & 4

Pay: GBP127.72 - GBP184.32

Start date: 2nd November 2020

End date: 16th July 2021

Key Information

Area - The school is situated in the heart of the Rhymney valley in Caerphilly local authority. Pupil numbers have declined over the last three years.

Number on roll - 141 pupils between 3 and 11 years old on roll, including 17 part-time nursery pupils.

FSM - On average 20% of pupils have been eligible for free school meals, which is higher than the national average of 18%.

ALN - The school has identified 21% of its pupils as having additional learning needs. This is the same as the national average.

Very few pupils come from Welsh-speaking homes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
