Length of Role: 1‑year contract starting September

A supportive primary school in Darwen is looking for a motivated KS2 Teacher to join their team from September on a full‑year contract. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping older primary pupils grow academically and personally.

You will lead a KS2 class, deliver high‑quality teaching, and contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment. The school is known for its strong pastoral support and commitment to staff development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering well‑planned and engaging KS2 lessons

  • Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching as needed

  • Creating a calm, inclusive and purposeful classroom

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

  • Supporting the wider school community

What We’re Looking For:

  • QTS and experience or training in KS2

  • A positive, enthusiastic and pupil‑focused approach

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills

  • Commitment to professional growth

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
