Supply Teacher - KS2 Specialist in Central Northampton
Are you a passionate and experienced KS2 teacher who is looking for a new challenge and different direction in your teaching career?
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated supply teachers to join our team and support pupils across a range of schools in Northampton. The roles would be for KS2 classes and will be a mixture of day-to-day, short-term placements, or longer-term opportunities.
As a Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of school environments, build valuable experience, and make a positive difference to pupils' learning and development, as well as having flexibility around your own personal commitments.
The role
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Creating a positive and inclusive environment where all students are engaged
- Maintaining high expectations of behaviour alongside the schools behaviour policy
- Following school safeguarding procedures.
- Providing appropriate feedback to school staff where required.
- Quickly adapting to different schools, classrooms, and pupil needs.
- Working alongside a teaching assistant
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds qualified teacher status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching within KS2 and a strong knowledge of the national curriuculm
- Is confident managing a classroom and maintaining positive behaviour.
- Is reliable and professional
- Has excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
Working with us will allow you the flexibility in your working days / hours as well as the opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of settings. You will be supported by a dedicated consultant and will be offered regular CPD to develop your teaching subject knowledge if you wish to. There is no need to take on any planning, marking or preparing responsibilities which will enable you to fully focus on the teaching and supporting the children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
