Exciting, full time SEN Teaching Assistant post in Dorset - October start.

Starting after October hald term, a fantastic Primary School in Wimborne are looking to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant, confident in supporting pupils with ASD (Autism) within KS2 (ages 7-11yrs). This is a FANTASTIC SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity, which could see you gain invaluable, frontline experience for the rest of the academic year.

The school are looking to recruit & appoint ASAP.

POSITION: SEN Teaching Assistant - KS2

PERSON: Ideal for Psychology Graduates - interest and/or experience with Autism required

SCHOOL: Fantastic Primary School - aged 4-11yrs

LOCATION: Wimborne

TRANSPORT: public transport links are limited

START DATE: October half term

To work within such a testing learning environment, applicants will need to have a genuine interest and passion in supporting children with Special Needs / SEN. The head of school is looking for a hardworking, bright and caring person, who has their sights set on a career within education, ideally focused on SEN and psychology. Applicants will need to be confident and able to deal with the daily challenges that arise when working with Autism (ASD).

ROLE: - What will your role include…

If successful, you will become part of a brilliant team, working as a full time SEN Teaching Assistant within Key Stage 2. You will be given the very best support, as you make the transition into the team and given any and all training required for you to successfully support pupils within the school.
