KS2 SEN Teacher

An alternative provision, based in Peterborough, are currently seeking an experienced KS2 specialist, to teach pupils aged 7-11 years with additional needs. To apply for this position, you should expect to deal with challenging behaviour regularly and should ideally have experience and training in de-escalation.

Pupils will access the National curriculum, delivered through a range of means. At present, the school teach Talk4Writing as well as Alan Peats Sentence Type for writing, and in Maths they follow White Rose. The children have Physical Education lessons twice a week and also have access to practical cookery sessions throughout the academic year.  

This is a long-term role, with the opportunity to become permanent through an introductory period with Teaching Personnel.
