KS2 Intervention Teacher Position, ‘GOOD’ Primary School, Manchester, M16

Full Time Intervention Position- September Start

Competitive Rates of Pay Dependant on Experience

A ‘GOOD’ Primary School in the Old Trafford area of Manchester (M16) are looking to recruit an ‘OUTSTANDING’ intervention teacher to deliver interventions sessions to children across KS2 on a full time basis starting in September. The successful candidate will work in the school on a full time basis up until the end of the academic year. The school are looking for a teacher who has experience teaching across KS2 who is completely comfortable with the KS2 curriculum. If successful, you’ll be expected to work closely with the full class teachers to plan and assess learning whilst continually encouraging learning and guiding children to meet their learning outcomes.

This 2 form entry primary school was graded ‘GOOD’ in all areas at its last OFSTED inspection. It boasts modern, state of the art facilities and a happy and helpful staffing team who aim to ‘inspire’ all children ‘academically and with their personal development’ at all times. The head teacher and governors of the school are looking for a teacher who is able to use their initiative to move children along with learning whilst getting ‘stuck in’ with all aspects of school life!

To be considered for this Intervention Teacher positon, you will:

  • Have recent experience teaching in KS2
  • Have the ability to plan and deliver effective intervention sessions for children of mixed abilities
  • Be looking to develop your career in teaching in an ‘GOOD’ Manchester primary school
