Job description

Teaching Personnel on behalf of a diverse and rewarding Primary school in Cardiff are looking for teachers with a real passion for working with children who have additional needs to join their committed teaching team on a supply basis.

The successful candidate will be supported by a fantastic staff team and will be working with a group of children who have very mixed abilities.

As a supply teacher you will be responsible for ensuring that your class are able to enjoy both learning and play in a caring and creative environment and will be expected to deliver the work set in an engaging and encouraging style - whilst adapting your lessons to differentiate accordingly.

Initially this post is on a day to day basis with a view to extend to a long term opportunity.

*The ideal candidate will be:
*A qualified teacher or instructor
*Experienced with working with children who have PMLD
*Experienced with children who have challenging behaviour
*A warm and patient individual able to make a real contribution at school level
*Able to support the school learning policies and become an active member of the teaching team.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
