Are you looking for Teaching Assistant work on a full time basis?

A large 3 form entry Roman Catholic Primary school in south Manchester, Wythenshawe, M23 area is looking to recruit an experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant to begin working on a full time basis at the start of the next academic year. Teaching Personnel are working as a recruitment partner for the school over the summer to help with the recruitment of the position.

The role will primarily be in the year 1 class as a general TA but will involve small group work of around 4-6 pupils to help support with phonics, Maths, reading and writing. The groups will be ranging in different abilities, from lower to higher in order to support all levels of pupils within the class. Ideally the school is looking for someone with previous experience in KS1. However, someone with the right attitude and enthusiasm that displays KS1 curriculum knowledge will be considered for the role.

The Roman Catholic school is a "good" graded Ofsted school that achieves good results in SATs year on year. The school believes in strong behaviour management and likes to push their pupils to achieve their best at all times. The school are looking for someone who shares the same ethos. Someone who is a practising catholic is highly sought after however someone who has worked in Catholic schools previously and understands the ethos of the school is also highly sought after.
