Job description
KS1 Teaching Assistant position in Southall!
Contract type -Fixed term (1 year), 31.25 hours per week, start date of September 2024.
Pay- £18,198 per annum.

What does the role involve?
-Support our teachers to deliver academic excellence, day in, day out.
-Assisting students with their educational and social development, on an individual and group basis.
-Assisting teachers with the maintenance of student’s records
-Building and maintaining successful relationships with students, whilst treating them with respect and consideration
-Work together with families and other agencies to ensure every pupil is valued, challenged and supported,
-Have the highest expectation that every pupil will make sustained academic and personal progress
The school are looking for someone that demonstrates the following:
- Has high expectations of teaching and learning
- To be a positive role model
- To contribute to the positive ethos of the school
- Be able to work collaboratively with a range of children and adults.
- Be keen to develop as a professional
- A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare
- Previous, recent experience in similar education setting
- Being independent and able to work under pressure.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
