KS1 Class Teacher – Primary School in Preston, Lancashire

Forward-thinking Primary School located just outside of Preston town centre.

 

About this role:

The Head Teacher and Governing Body of a reputable Primary School in PRESTON seeking to appoint a key stage 1 Teacher to join our team for September 2022, the year group is TBC. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for someone innovative and aspiring to join a team committed to developing teaching and learning and the school takes great pride in our happy and warm environment, where each and every pupil is valued and nurtured.

This is a responsible role supporting the teaching and learning across KS1 and the wider school as well as the development of the school working closely with the Senior Leadership Team. The class teacher will play a key role, alongside the Senior Leadership Team, to further strengthen the quality of education across the school. This exciting opportunity will require the successful candidate to support coaching Early Career Teachers and trainee teachers as well as the wider Key Stage 1 team.  

The Head Teacher is very keen to secure a candidate with a genuine passion and knowledge and somebody who shares the school’s high standards. This is a full time class responsibility and is to begin from September 2022.

  • A proven track record of raising achievement within the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
