KS1/EYFS teaching assistant

EYFS & KS1 teaching assistant - full time - Feltham, Hounslow - immediate start - GBP60 to GBP80 per day

As part of the Hounslow Education Partnership, Teaching Personnel get access to a wide range of opportunities across the borough - providing candidates with flexibility in to the roles they are looking for. This includes working with schools in areas such as Chiswick, Feltham, Hounslow, Heston and Cranford. 

The role?

This full time role will involve working across all of their EYFS and KS1 classes, providing general classroom support and guidance. Within this position you will be required to step in as PPA cover for the teachers, this will involve working through the classroom activities and plans. They are looking for someone who is confident and experienced leading classes. 

You will be required to work across all of their classes, providing support to the class teacher and the students on a one to one and group basis. With it being a two form entry school they are looking for someone who is adaptable and able to work closely with multiple members of staff effectively.

This two form entry school have received an 'outstanding' Ofsted report, being commended for their academic excellence within their infant only school. With their recent changes in SLT they have a clear focus on a high standard of education and care for all students and members of staff. They have a positive and safe environment for all to learn in, teaching students and staff to respect others difference's and celebrate diversity. 

The school is located in the heart of Feltham, connected by multiple bus and train services including the 90, H26 and 235. 

 

Ideal candidate?

- Experienced working within EYFS and KS1 classes

- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum

- Experienced and confident at leading the class during PPA sessions

- Adaptable within new environments
