Job Title: KS1 Teacher

Are you passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to nurturing young minds? We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join our team and inspire our young learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Key Stage 1 students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians as necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and contribute to the school's curriculum development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behavior.
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities to foster strong partnerships with parents/guardians and the wider community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with Key Stage 1 students, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and a passion for inspiring young learners.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a reflective approach to teaching practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
