KS1 Class Teacher – Burscough

Job Title: KS1 Class Teacher
Location: Burscough
Contract Length: Until July 2026
Pay Rate: £120 – £160 per day
Setting: Mainstream Primary School

Position Summary

A mainstream primary school in Burscough is looking for an enthusiastic KS1 Class Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis until July 2026. The school is seeking someone who can deliver engaging lessons and support pupils through a vital stage of their education.

Responsibilities Include

  • Teaching a KS1 class in line with national curriculum expectations

  • Creating a safe, structured and engaging learning environment

  • Supporting pupils with varying abilities and learning styles

  • Assessing progress and contributing to planning meetings

  • Working closely with support staff and leadership

Candidate Requirements

  • QTS and eligibility to work in UK schools

  • Experience within Key Stage 1

  • A calm, organised and child-centred approach

  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusion

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
