Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and nurture young learners during a crucial stage of their primary education.

Salary: £120 - £140 per day

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 2 pupils.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing.
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events and extracurricular activities.

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a love of learning and supporting pupil development.
  • Creativity, resilience, and a positive approach to teaching.
