KS2 Early Career Teacher (ECT)
Location: Blackburn
Contract: Full Time
Start Date: After February Half Term
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Key Stage 2 Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our welcoming primary school in Blackburn on a full-time basis, starting after February half term.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT to begin or continue their teaching career within a supportive and nurturing school environment, with strong mentoring and professional development in place.
The Role
The successful candidate will:

Take responsibility for teaching a KS2 class, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

Plan, assess and adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils
-
Create a positive, well-managed classroom environment
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and leadership
-
Demonstrate a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
-
Holds QTS (or is due to qualify) and is eligible for ECT induction
-
Has a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum
-
Is enthusiastic, reflective and eager to develop professionally
-
Has strong behaviour management and communication skills
-
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
