A small primary school within the Helston area are seeking to appoint a part-time KS2 Teacher to join them after Easter 2020.
This role will form part of a job-share, with an experienced teacher who currently teaches a mixed KS2 class. You will be required to teach on Mondays and Tuesdays, and also take part in joint planning sessions every Wednesday afternoon. The school are ideally seeking a fully qualified teacher, with at least two years of experience teaching KS2. Experience teaching a mixed class would be desirable but not essential. You will need to have outstanding behaviour management techniques and be confident teaching a lively class. You will need to be excellent at differentiating for different levels, and have an ability to offer an inclusive classroom environment for children with Special Educational Needs. There will be support from an experienced TA who will support with interventions and group work.
This post will initially run until July 2020 but is likely to be extended into the next academic year on a temporary contract.
