Teaching Personnel is delighted to be recruiting an experienced KS3/KS4 Teacher for a specialist educational provision in the Devizes area.
This is a full-time opportunity beginning in September 2026, although an earlier start may be available for the successful candidate.
This position is ideal for an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher who has experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and can confidently become an effective member of the team from day one.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about removing barriers to learning while inspiring pupils to develop both academically and personally.
What You'll Be Doing
As a classroom teacher, you'll deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring learning is tailored to meet the individual needs of every pupil. You'll encourage confidence, independence and resilience while creating a calm and inclusive classroom environment.
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons that meet EHCP outcomes.
- Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching strategies where required.
- Creating engaging learning opportunities that motivate and inspire.
- Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
- Managing behaviour using consistent and restorative approaches.
- Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and specialist professionals.
- Preparing resources that support a variety of learning styles.
- Monitoring achievement and maintaining accurate records.
- Promoting safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion throughout the school.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Previous experience working within SEN or alternative provision.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Creativity, flexibility and resilience.
- A genuine commitment to improving educational outcomes.
- The confidence to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
