KS2 Teaching Assistant – LA2 – September Start

Location: LA2 (Lancaster area)
Start Date: September 2026
Pay: £14.25 – £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a friendly and supportive primary school in the LA2 area, who are looking for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join them from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a welcoming school community that truly values its staff.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils across Key Stage 2 (Year 3–Year 6)
  • Working 1:1 and with small groups to boost learning and confidence
  • Helping to deliver engaging lessons alongside the class teacher
  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Supporting children of all abilities to reach their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
