Due to unforeseen circumstances and a restructuring in their Key Stage 2 department, our client Bolton school have a need for a Year 5 teacher on a long term supply basis. Initially the role will run up until Easter covering a long term sickness, with the potential for the booking to continue for the full academic year.

The school is located in Bolton and has a diverse catchment area. The school is a Catholic school and has a vibrant and welcoming environment. The school is rated as 'Good' by Ofsted, with teaching rated as good and outstanding in places.

The school's leadership, supported by a united staff team, has high ambitions for the school and a quiet determination to provide a high quality education for its pupils. Overall by the end of Key Stage 2, pupils in school are in line with the national average. The school are looking for Year 5 Teacher, who has relevant experience working in Key Stage 2. The department are looking for someone who will show commitment to the role, and help progress attainment levels in Numeracy, Literacy and Reading.

Being a practising Catholic or holding Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies would be of benefit but not essential but the school would expect the successful teacher to uphold the school's ethos.

With Teaching Personnel's Service Level Agreement with the Salford Diocese we put on Several CPD opportunities both at the Diocese Cathedral Centre and St. Patrick's RC High School upskilling our staff in the Catholic ethos and primary curriculum.
