Key Stage 2 Intervention Teacher

Primary School in Padiham

Hours: Full-time (Monday - Friday) 

Maths & English Intervention 

Contract Type: Temporary to permanent 

Pay rate: £140 - £170 per day

About the role: 

The School believe in providing exceptional education that empowers students to excel academically and grow into well-rounded individuals. The Head Teacher is ideally seeking an experienced teacher to lead small group intervention sessions in Maths and English across Years 4, 5 and 6. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Create and implement dynamic lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles within the classroom.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere that encourages active participation and growth.
  • Utilize your strong KS2 curriculum knowledge to provide in-depth subject expertise and support to students.
  • Prepare students for SATs by employing effective teaching strategies and providing targeted guidance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school's continuous improvement.
