SEN Support OL13 (Bacup)

  • Full time Monday- Friday 08.30am- 3.30pm.
  • Competitive rates, £11.85 - £12.50 per day
  • To start from April.
  • KS2
  • This role is temporary with the view to make the right candidate permanent.

Our school is looking for an individual to integrate themselves into a classroom as SEN support. This role is to support in the classroom managing behaviour. The ideal candidate must have a good work ethic, be positive, enthusiastic, work well with others and have a passion for pupils’ education.

For this role you will need experience providing support to children with ASC and Challenging Behaviour.

Have experience working 1:1 and in small groups.

A level 2 minimum qualification in teaching and learning support.

The ideal candidate:

  •  Will have a minimum of 6 months of school experience.
  • A level 2 minimum qualification in teaching and learning support
    • Implement positive behaviour management.
    • Work well with the classroom teacher.
    • Will have experience supporting pupils with SEN.
    • Confidently adjust approach to changes in behaviour with SEN pupils.
    • Show a positive attitude.
    • Be reliable.
    • Understand and follow safeguarding procedures.

The school is easily accessible by both car and public transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
