Key Stage 1 Teacher

Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Full-time, ongoing
Pay: Paid to scale (M1 – M6)

Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working in close partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Salisbury, who are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from January 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences for young learners.


The Role:

  • Full-time classroom teacher within Key Stage 1
  • Responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Creating a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes progress and enthusiasm for learning
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupil development
  • Undertaking standard teacher responsibilities such as marking, classroom management, and attending school meetings

‍ About You:

We’re looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent)
  • Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1
  • Demonstrates creativity, enthusiasm, and a nurturing approach to teaching
  • Is confident in planning and assessment to ensure all pupils make good progress
  • Is proactive, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a supportive school team

️ Safeguarding and Compliance:

All educators working through Teaching Personnel will be fully vetted prior to placement. This includes:

  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
  • Completion of mandatory safeguarding training
  • An informal interview with classroom-based questions to ensure suitability for the role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
