K3/4 Outdoor Education SEND Teacher

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a specialist school in Bedale to recruit a personable, energetic Outdoor Education Teacher across Key Stage 3 and 4, there will also be an element of English and Math's teaching in the role. The role will commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis, however there is a strong potential for a permanent position for the right candidate. You will be working alongside a team of experience professionals, in an OFSTED rated 'Good' school with brilliant facilities, such as a sensory garden and their own farm! You will be working with students with Physical and Sensory impairments, as well as ASC and SEMH.

Ideally, the candidate will hold a Team Teach qualification, although this can be provided to you through Teaching Personnel's CPD opportunities. The candidate will have a passion for improving life skills of students, and believe in the importance of improving their personal well being as well as assisting in curriculum based learning.

The ideal candidate will have:

-At least six months experience in an SEND environment

-Qualified Teacher Status

-Excellent Behaviour Management

-A passion for the outdoors
