Invigilation/ Cover Supervisor - Stockport

Are you looking to work in secondary schools as an exam invigilator or cover supervisor?

A secondary school located in the Stockport area of Manchester are seeking exam invigilators, as well as cover supervisors, to offer support throughout the school. As an exam invigilator you will overlook and supervise the running of internal examinations. This invigilation position is due to start ASAP as mock examinations begin soon within the school. There are opportunities for full and part time positions within this role. The Good Ofsted graded secondary school is seeking individuals to work on a full and part time basis as cover supervisors, covering short term sickness within the school and supporting departments. As a cover supervisor, you will be delivering pre planned lessons in the absence of the teacher. When cover is not needed, you will be providing support within your subject specialist area. This support will be on a 1:1 and small group basis, both in and outside the classroom.

The secondary school is located in the Stockport area of Manchester and is easily accessible, with good public transport links. The school has a strong ethos, facilitating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. This means that teachers and pupils enjoy a good working relationship, with challenging behaviour being kept to a minimum.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
