Intervention Tutor

A school in Tamesideis looking for an Intervention Tutor to join the support staff team on a part-time basis.

The role will focus primarily on working with students in their development and progress across the core subjects (KS3)

The role will focus on working with:

• Students who are disengaged.
• Students who refuse to complete work.
• Students who have fallen behind the expected attainment level.

The required applicant will be required to:

• Devise strategies to re-engage students.
• Prepare students for upcoming exams.
• Develop overall exam technique.
• Address issues related to why the student will not engage.
• Working under the instruction of the school SENCO.
• Working as part of a support staff team, working towards delivering the school’s desired vision.
• Managing any pastoral issues that may arise.

Located close to Manchester City Centre, the school is easily accessible.

Pay: GBP18 - GBP25 per hour based on previous experience
