Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Intervention Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the NP12 area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a nurturing environment and is committed to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
Role Overview:
- Provide targeted intervention support to pupils in KS1 and KS2
- Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored learning plans
- Support children with literacy, numeracy, and emotional regulation
- Monitor progress and adapt strategies to meet individual needs
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
✅ Requirements:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting (school, tutoring, youth work, etc.)
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
