Primary Teaching Assistants – Qualified & Unqualified
Newport (NP11) | Start Date: September
Full-Time & Part-Time (Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
£89.38 per day (£13.75 per hour)

What You’ll Do

Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons

Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning

Help create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

Support pupils with reading, writing, numeracy, and social skills

Prepare resources and assist with classroom organisation
-
Encourage children’s academic progress and emotional wellbeing

Who We’re Looking For

Qualified TAs (Level 2 or 3)

Unqualified candidates with relevant experience (schools, childcare, youth work, etc.)

Enthusiastic, dependable, and caring individuals

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A genuine passion for supporting children to learn and succeed

Availability during school hours in the Newport (NP11) area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
