Nursery Assistant – Exciting Opportunity in NP12

Pay: From £89.83 per day
Start Date: January 2026

Teaching Personnel are partnering with a welcoming primary school in NP12 who are seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join their team. If you’re enthusiastic about helping children develop positive behaviours and a love for learning, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do
As a Nursery Assistant, you will:

Support daily nursery activities, ensuring smooth classroom operations

Help create a nurturing, stimulating environment for early learning
-
Stay organised and respond effectively to the needs of the children
-
Provide high-quality care and encouragement to every child
-
Follow school safeguarding policies at all times
-
Collaborate with teachers and support staff to maintain a positive learning atmosphere
-
Adapt to the changing needs of the nursery throughout the day
What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you will:

Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
-
Hold a Child-Only DBS registered on the Update Service
-
Be able to provide two professional references covering the last 24 months

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
