Key Stage 2 Intervention Teacher - Prestwich, Bury (M25) Primary School

A Prestwich, Bury (M25) Primary School to find a KS2 SATS intervention Teacher to help raise attainment in Maths and English.

  • Working across Year 6 helping to raise pupil attainment in both Maths and English in preparation for SATs.
  • 'Good' Ofsted graded Bury Primary School.
  • Continuous Professional Development high on the agenda to develop all staff.
  • Either Part or Full time.

The role at this Bury Primary School will involve working with identified groups of children in year 6 to develop their confidence and motivation for Maths and English to raise their attainment n the build up to SATs through intervention. The role will involve collaborating with the class teachers to plan group lessons and deliver and assess the children's progress following the schools assessment scheme. The groups will all be a similar level from lower ability groups to the most able.

The Bury Primary School is looking to start the successful candidate in January. The school are looking for a confident and hard working intervention teacher to support the year 6 pupils and develop their confidence in Maths and English.

This Prestwich (M25) school is average sized and is fast paced and very welcoming. The children are very well behaved due to a consistent and fair behaviour management policy and children are given the opportunity to take responsibility for their behaviour. The school has a strong Senior Leadership Team who looks to develop all their staff through Continued Professional Development.

They are ideally looking for teachers who have experience in similar roles and with year 6 SATs.
