Intervention Teacher

  • Location – Radcliffe, Bury (M26)
  • Start date - September 2020

This is a full-time role starting in September 2020 and for the first term of the new academic year. Due to gaps in children’s learning because of Covid 19, the school is looking for an intervention teacher to help raise attainment.

This role will involve teaching in different classes across Key Stage 1 and 2 and the4 Head teacher is looking for a flexible teacher with experience teaching in different year groups.

The Bury Primary School is larger than average and has a specialised ASC provision. Because of this, the school has a much larger than average proportion of pupil with special educational needs and so experiences work with pupil’s with additional needs is essential. The school are looking for a confident and hard working intervention teacher to support the year 6 pupils and develop their confidence in Maths and English.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
