Do you believe that everyone is able to learn? Are you a qualified teacher seeking extra work? Perhaps you are an experienced tutor wishing to help struggling students pass their exams? Or do you have QTS and are seeking a new rewarding job role which is slightly different?

I am currently looking for a teacher to support pupils across the Southampton area on a one to one basis. You can work from 1 to 5 hours per day across a range of subjects including Maths, English and Science. This support can range from purely academic, supporting a high achieving student through their GCSEs; to more pastoral in nature, supporting pupils who are reluctant to engage in a traditional educational setting.

Benefits of working through Teaching Personnel:

• Choice and Variety – Offering you a range of opportunities and schools to work within.

• Teaching Personnel’s CPD Academy – Fantastic training available to increase your skills and expertise.

• Pay – Great pay rates dependant on experience and the roles you undertake, you would be paid on a weekly basis.

• Excellence in Education Awards – recognising the positive impact you deliver in schools.

• TP Tokens – supporting national children and education charities through your direction.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Be an engaging and informative teacher to help students access the best education available to them.

• Tailor lesson plans to suit the needs of individual students to help them achieve a pass mark in English.

Requirements of the role:

• A creative teacher who can question the norm and engage students within the English curriculum.

• QTS (UK recognised teaching qualification) or extensive tuition experience.

• DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a DBS on the update service.

If you would like to find out more about the opportunity, please apply with an up to date CV and a member of the Solent Secondary team will be in touch to discuss the opportunity further.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
