Intervention Teacher - Full time - Ealing - February Half Term Start - Temporary based role!

Teaching Personnel are working closely with schools across the UK to provide them with specialist staff throughout this lockdown period. With the effects of the learning gap potentially growing they are looking for highly experienced intervention staff to help support the student's return following the February half term.

As TP are one of the partner companies within the National Tuition Programme we have a range of schools currently looking for experience intervention and tuition staff to provide one to one or group based support.

How will the intervention work within the school?

Following the lockdown there will be assessments conducted to measure the gaps in learning within all year groups, as an intervention teacher you will be utilised to conduct specialist group support for student's of similar abilities. These grousps will be focusing on key areas of the curriculum they are struggling with and helping to transition them back in to a normal school routine. This role will consist of working closely with the class teachers to help assess, prepare and conduct the additional classroom support, solely running group and one to one sessions.

This role will be based within their KS2 department, working closely with a range of year groups. They are looking for someone who is confident working with all KS2 classes and the curriculum as you will be required to contribute to the planning/preparation.

- Experienced working within KS2

- Confident/experience running group and intervention sessions, including breakfast and after school booster sessions

- Flexible to each student's needs and requirements, including supporting those with special educational needs

- Passionate about teaching and looking to make a difference

The school is a two form entry school based in the heart of Ealing. Being based in the heart of Ealing the school is easily accessible by train and bus services, including being a short walk from Ealing Broadway Train Station. They do also have an on site car park available for members of staff.

As a two form entry school they have created a community setting, allowing students to thrive in a positive learning environment. They has seen a number of great changes within their school, including a complete over turn in their approach to learning and the curriculum to help improve the level of education for all students. They have seen a great improvement,in their overall grades and the progress of the students. With this continuous progress they are looking for members of staff to help constantly improve and develop their teaching approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
