Intervention Support needed in Northamptonshire Primary School

A primary school in Northamptonshire is looking for an Interventions Teaching Assistant to work across KS1 and KS2 and offer small group support to pupils in lower academic ability areas, specific SEN support, pastoral support and behavioural support.
You will be primarily based within a KS2 class offering general academic support and classroom support but will also have between 10-15 hours per week working with small groups of children outside of the classroom offering support in various subject and pastoral areas such as Phonics sessions, Maths interventions, Behavioural interventions, social interventions and Speech and Language interventions. You will be required to work closely with the SENCO, tailoring intervention sessions to individual Educational Healthcare Plans and working closely with external agencies such as the Occupational Therapist and Speech and Language Therapist.
Therefore, it is essential that the ideal candidate has previous experience of working with EHC's and supporting pupils with various SEN.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
