We're Hiring: Intervention and Support Role – Bolton


Location: Bolton
Start Date: September start
Contract: Full-time & part-time roles available
Rate: Competitive, based on experience

Join our team at Teaching Personnel, the UK’s leading supply agency, and ply your trade in a range of schools across Greater Manchester. We are currently recruiting for Intervention and Support Staff to work in primary schools across Bolton.

About the Role:
As an Intervention and Support Specialist, you'll play a pivotal part in helping pupils who need additional academic, social, or emotional support. This may include:

  • Delivering targeted 1:1 or small group interventions in literacy, numeracy or behaviour
  • Supporting students with SEN, SEMH, or EAL needs
  • Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
  • Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to their overall development

We’re looking for candidates who:
✅ Have experience working with children or young people in a school or care setting
✅ Are confident delivering interventions or classroom support
✅ Have a patient, flexible, and proactive approach
✅ Hold a valid DBS (or are willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
