A school in South Manchester is looking for an Inclusion Manager to join the support staff team in January.

The role will commence from January 2021, and will run until the end of the academic year.

This presents itself as a great opportunity for the required individual to quickly develop strong positive relationships with both other staff and students.

Applications are welcomed from:

  • Individuals who have extensive SEN experience.
  • Those who have a passion for working within the realm of SEN/SEMH.
  • Individuals who are driven by working on a pastoral basis with students.

This role will involve:

  • Working with students with SEN – including those with Autism, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Epilepsy and those with Mobility/Sensory Issues.
  • Overseeing specific intervention programmes for disengaged students.
  • Catering for the individual needs of students, based on their ability to engage with subject material/mainstream learning.
  • Managing the needs of students who are considered as LAC, and being able to effectively communicate with guardians/carers.
  • Implementing strategies designed to enable students to progress at the desired rate in terms of academic attainment.
  • Maintaining school policies at all times, ensuring that students are aware of the school’s expectations at all times.
  • Protecting the school’s rules related to Diversity and Wellbeing.

Pay annually: Between GBP23,000 and GBP27,000

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
