ICT teaching role (Northamptonshire)

Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with a Secondary School in Corby who is seeking a teaching of ICT/Computer Science. The school has recently been rated Outstanding by OFSTED and have a range of high quality learning facilities. The school heavily focus on the development of technical knowledge while maintaining a broad curriculum which will develop all aspects of their education. The aim of the staff is to develop confident learners who take control of their own education and are proud of their success. A full time teacher of ICT/Computer Science is required for the new academic year: teaching the subject to KS3/4 on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will be an experienced teacher of ICT and will be passionate about working with young people and spreading their knowledge of the subject. The pay rate for this role will fall between £130 and £170 per day.

The ideal applicant will also be:

  • Capable of monitoring the progress of students and ensuring attainment levels are maintained and improved
  • Able to manage a classroom efficiently and implement effective behaviour strategies
  • Work collaboratively with the department in order to ensure student progress is made and to promote the values of the school
  • Ensure an atmosphere is created where students feel safe, confident and supported in all aspects of their education
  • Have strong subject and curriculum knowledge

In order to be considered for this position all applicants must have a child only DBS on the update service. You must also be able to provide references from two recent employers.
