Job description

Position: ICT & Business Studies Teacher

Location: Burnley, Lancashire

Start date: September 2024

A secondary school in Burnley require a full-time ICT & Business Studies Teacher from September 2024. The successful ICT & Business Teacher will initially be appointed until the end of the academic year, however there is the potential for this to continue into the 2023/24 academic year.

As the successful ICT Teacher, you will teach ICT & Business up to KS4 (GCSE), and you will teach a mixture of high ability, low ability and mixed ability classes. Preferably you will have some experience teaching and supporting pupils with SEND; in particular ASC, Dyslexia and ADHD. You will be able to work well as a team and also have the initiative and drive to work solely, and share your thoughts and ideas across the departments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
