About the School

A modern school with 21st century buildings, state of the art facilities surrounded by large open greens is searching for maths teachers at KS3-5 level. With a partnered primary school the key values of the school are instilled at a young age in a caring and supportive ethos. Their aim is to nurture students and develop their positive personal qualities.

Providing first class education and preparing students for further education is a priority as they also look to help students employability. They encourage student confidence to become constructive citizens and their learning is supported by 'state-of-the-art' ICT services including portable devices to assist learning.

Rated as "good" by Ofsted stating the high-quality of education is maintained by a strong leadership.

Ofsted were quoted saying:

"Purposeful and effective culture for learning that pupils and staff recognise and appreciate,"

"Good quality of teaching, learning and assessment."

The school aspire to excellence and share a respect for individuals, communities and groups with their students.

About the role

ICT teacher

Ages 11-16 (KS3-5)

5 days a week

Temporary role with the possibility to take a permanent role

Creating stimulating lessons that engage and excite students in line with the National Curriculum

There will be an expectation to create lesson plans and mark the student's work, along with running extra-tutoring sessions for students who may struggle with the material.

Location

The school is accessible via Northolt underground, Central line (40 minute walk), or Hays & Harlington station (45 minute walk). Alternatively, the school can be accessed by Stratford Road bus station, buses E9 (10 minute walk). a driving license would be ideal but not necessary.

Requirements

A UK recognised teaching qualification (BSc GTS, BA QTS, CERT ED, PGCE)

Experience teaching ICT, at secondary school (from KS3-KS4)

An enthusiastic and diligent teacher
