Humanities Teacher

Teaching Personnel, the market leader of education recruitment in the UK, are working in partnership with a secondary school in Warrington who is seeking a Humanities Teacher to join them from September 2019. The secondary school are looking to appoint a Humanities Teacher to teach Geography and History to students in Key stage 3 and 4, up to GCSE level.

  • Humanities Teacher required to start in September
  • Teaching History and Geography to students aged 11-16
  • Working within a secondary school, located in Warrington
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406) with weekly pay
  • Opportunity for supporting extra curriculum activities
  • Working within a cohesive, forward thinking and hard working team
  • Temporary position, with the opportunity of a permanent position

With an open vacancy within the Humanities department, the Headteacher is looking to appoint an experienced Humanities Teacher to join the cohesive, forward thinking team. With the new academic year approaching our client is taking immediate consideration for any applicants, that have relevant experience and the skills they are looking for.

The Ideal candidate the secondary school is looking for will;

  • Have experience teaching Humanities to Key stage 3 and 4 students
  • Be able to produce innovative, fun and interactive lesson plans
  • Engage with every student helping them achieve their maximum potential
  • Be confident and outgoing
  • Be a strong team player, to work well within the
  • Have an enhance child workforce only DBS certificate on the update service

The secondary school is a highly successful 11-18 co-educational grammar school with an outstanding national and local reputation for academic excellence in a caring community. With a recent 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Humanities Teacher.
