Exciting opportunity within the Humanities department of a modern secondary school with a track record in performance tables.
- Full-time Humanities teacher.
- Teaching KS3 History and Geography.
- Required from May 2021 for one academic year in the first instance.
- Paid to teaching scale point.
- Supporting pupils aged 11-16.
- Secondary school based in Penryn.
Due to a staffing restructure, our client school is looking to recruit an additional teacher for the Humanities department. The new Teacher will be expected to take on additional responsibilities such as planning and marking. The teacher will be required to teach differentiated Humanities lessons to pupils at varying levels of learning ability across Key Stage 3. You will work closely with the pupils to ensure accurate goals are set and met.
To be considered for this position you must have QTS and have experience teaching History across Key Stage 3 level. Both experienced and newly qualified teachers of both History and Geography are being considered for this role. You will be paid to scale and will receive weekly pay through PAYE.
