Are you a highly skilled and passionate Humanities Teacher seeking a new opportunity in the Wigan area?

We are currently working with a secondary school in Wigan who is looking for a talented and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join their team in September 2024. As a specialist in either Geography or History, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons and improving the educational experience of our students.

The successful candidate will possess excellent teaching skills and a strong desire to help students achieve their full potential. This is a full-time position, and the role will continue on an ongoing basis.

Key Highlights:

  • Teach Humanities to Key Stages 3 and 4 students
  • Full-time position starting in September 2024
  • Salary in line with MPS

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Confident in delivering GCSE History or Geography
  • Hold a DBS on the Update service or willingness to apply for an enhanced DBS (Child Workforce Only)
  • Demonstrate a track record of improving student attainment
