HLTA required for a Primary School

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in Poole who are recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work across EYFS, KS1 & KS2.

We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable working in small groups and occasionally one to one with students in a small school in Poole. The school has a friendly and warm atmosphere and needs someone who will easily build rapport and be able to provide regular cover within the school.

You must be able to display excellent timekeeping, work hard and be passionate about the role supporting pupils. As a HLTA the school will look for you to cover classes and be able to teach the work left by the teacher in their absence.

For this HLTA role you must be Level 4 qualified, and be willing to obtain a DBS if you don't already have one which is registered with the update service; in addition to this you will need to have recent experience in a school.

If successful, Teaching Personnel will provide you with a dedicated consultant, a chance to work in various schools, PAYE scheme, and ongoing support.
