Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference across all year groups?
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable HLTA to join our friendly and supportive team in Blackburn. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on variety and enjoys working with children across the primary age range.

About the Role

As our HLTA, you will:

  • Work flexibly across different year groups, supporting teaching and learning from Early Years through to Year 6.

  • Deliver engaging lessons and interventions under the direction of the class teacher or senior leadership team.

  • Support pupils with a range of learning needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.

  • Provide cover for classes when required, ensuring high-quality teaching and a positive learning environment.

  • Contribute to planning, assessment, and the wider life of the school.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds HLTA status (or equivalent qualification/experience).

  • Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • Is confident working independently and collaboratively with teachers and other staff.

  • Demonstrates enthusiasm, resilience, and a passion for helping children succeed.

  • Can adapt quickly to the needs of different classes and age groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
