Job description

College Support Assistant
Location: SEN College, Rossendale 
Hours: Tuesday – Friday, 8:50am – 3:30pm
Pay Rate: £13.75 – £14.50 per hour

Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs as they prepare for the next steps in life? We are looking for a dedicated College Support Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.

You will be working with students on programmes focused on Preparation for Adulthood, Citizenship and Employment, helping them develop essential life and work skills in a positive and engaging learning environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • A caring and patient approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Experience supporting young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)

  • A genuine passion for making a difference

This is a long-term role offering consistent hours and the potential for development and progression within the college.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
