Teaching Assistant

An "Outstanding" Mainstream Primary School in Tilehurst (RG31) are currently looking to employ a flexible Teaching Assistant who is experienced and confident working alongside children with complex needs; and who has good behaviour management.

The School are currently looking for someone who:

Commit to working full-time - 5 days a week 08:30 to 3:30

• Has experience supporting children within a School environment with SEN needs
• Are you able to put effective strategies in place in order to avoid confrontational and disruptive behaviour?
• Be a good communicator and be able to work as part of a term
• Have a good understanding of safeguarding and procedures
• Be outgoing and have a strong classroom presence
• Be experienced working with pupils on a small group and 1:1 basis
• Have school based experience and be able to implement a range of behaviour interventions
