Teacher of History – Secondary
Location: Milton Keynes
Start Date: January 2026 (or sooner where possible)
Contract: Full Time | Long-term
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Teaching Personnel are working closely with one of our trusted partner secondary schools in Milton Keynes, who are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of History to join their Humanities department from January 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate historian to deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students to think critically, build curiosity, and develop a strong understanding of the world around them.

The Role

  • Full-time teaching of History to KS3 & KS4

  • Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons

  • Contributing to curriculum development within the Humanities department

  • Supporting pupils of all abilities to progress and achieve

  • Participating in departmental meetings and wider school activities

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching History within a UK secondary school

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the Humanities

  • Excellent behaviour management and communication skills

  • A commitment to creating inclusive and inspiring learning environments
