Are you a teacher of History looking for work in the new academic year?
Do you have a wealth of experience teaching KS3/4 or A-level in Secondary education?
Teaching Personnel are supporting a large mixed comprehensive secondary school situated in Nottingham, to appoint a full-time History teacher to join their Humanities faculty in September 2019.
The position will incorporate teaching History to pupils across KS3 and KS4 and the incoming History teacher will be required to partake in full departmental planning and marking.
Applications are being accepted from both experienced and newly qualified History teachers and relevant support will be provided.
- Full-time History teacher
- Competitive pay in line with MPS/UPS pay scale
- Must hold QTS specialising in History or have experience teaching History to GCSE
- Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT's) are encouraged to apply for this role
- Must have child workforce DBS on update service (can be applied for)
The successful teacher will take responsibility for a full-time position within a well-respected secondary school that is located in the North of Nottingham. The incoming History teacher will be responsible for a complete History timetable including classes of mixed ability sets at GCSE level.
The school aim to appoint a passionate and dedicated History teacher that will be able to teach well planned and engaging lessons to their students on a regular basis. It will be crucial in support of further employment that the History teacher will be able enhance the learning of their pupils in order to achieve excellent results at GCSE level.
