Teaching Personnel is currently working in partnership with a secondary school in the Blackpool area to recruit a full-time History Teacher, to start in January 2020, for a maternity leave running through until the end of the academic year (possibly a full 12 months).

The school has exceptionally high standards for both pupil behaviour in school and attitudes to learning. For a candidate to be considered they should be able to uphold these high standards in their own teaching. Teachers who have previously taught in the school always describe the excellent staff atmosphere in school.

A suitable candidate should be experienced delivering History up to  GCSE level. The school follows AQA science at GCSE level, so experience working with this exam board would be preferable, however, not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
