History Teacher - January 2019 - Basingstoke RG24

History teacher with QTS required for post starting in January 2019 - full time hours paid 2.5% over pay scale point.

This is a role for a suitably qualified teacher who is able to work well independently and in a team, who is able to increase attainment and help to instil the values and ethos of the school to a high standard. Teaching Personnel is currently working for a secondary school in the Basingstoke area where they have a need for a History teacher to join them in January for a full time post including planning and marking.

We work closely with this school on a regular basis and they have come to us to help them to recruit the best History teacher possible, this is for a full planning and marking role and you will be expected to integrate and work well with other members of the History and Humanities department to aid the increase of all students across the curriculum.

The school is a large secondary school, who have a need to recruit for this role due to a retiring teacher. They are keen to get a new teacher in to their department who is able to raise aspirations further following the successes they have had in previous academic years aiding them to improve both grades and attitudes to learning in line with previous years. They have recently improved from a Requires improvement rating to Good as judged by Ofsted and they are now looking to continue this upwards trend and begin their journey towards Outstanding.
