Position: Experienced History Teacher (Long-Term and Day-to-Day) - York & Surrounding Areas

Role Overview:
As an Experienced History Teacher with Teaching Personnel, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' education across a variety of schools in York and neighboring regions. Your role will involve crafting and delivering captivating History lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a love for the past within a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute comprehensive History lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
- Employ diverse teaching methodologies to cater to students' varied learning styles.
- Assess student understanding through formative and summative assessments.
- Provide individualized support to students to facilitate academic growth and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a collaborative and inclusive learning atmosphere.

Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated expertise in History education with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Availability to work flexibly, with 3 to 5 days of availability per week.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
